Little findings

S*star's the science club in my school. Just thought I would do a little smt for our seniors' farewell:)
Well, it is science, that's why there're little findings in the pots. heheh.
My first time paying with air-dry clay since P3. really I only used it to stick the sakura sticker to the branches and prop up the grey stones so... can't really say I made anything out of it.
I've got a zip, some stuff from a spoilt analog clock, n the number thing from a combination lock

Chinese New Year

It's probably quite a while away actually. But there's nothing better than welcoming in another festive season! It looks pretty different but the tutorial was from here http://liagriffith.com/diy-paper-gardenia/ . The back petals were individually cut, each of the petals about A4 size. Excited for reunion dinner ^^

Camera

Polymer clay: camera (miniature)
Canon E-x1
I should not have glazed the black body. It kind of obscures the texture. But it's my first time using the pod podge dimensional magic and it worked pretty well! I'd love a more domed shape (and this is after two coats), but it set nicely, showing the colours beneath it!

shoes

I know, the horse takes up way to much space. way too much space. It doesn't even look like a horse D':  painted these for my jie jie. Really crossing my fingers for this one, but I hope she'll like it!

faux chalk!

My new project! A chalk effect typography. I hope to put this in class, so I hope the words don't fade or get dusty.. :/
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
-Philippians 4:13
The front is black acrylic paint, and the words are written with a white charcoal pencil. the side's brown and black dilute acrylic paint. (: alterations were made using a dry paint brush to erase mistakes. An extra effect to use dry pastel powder and wipe across  front with tissue paper

.. I had a spelling error > ~ < heheh luckily managed to correct it later..

Tutorial: Northern lights phone case!
~ Where the lights touch the Earth
This one was painted/sponged! Not what I would usually go for but it turned out pretty nice <3
You can stop the video halfway and get a starry night/galaxy effect as well(:

Hope you enjoyed it!
btw I post a new tutorial every Sunday (well i try to but anyway every week) - Please check back!

I just visited a classmate's blog haha:) she's got like 1000+ views blogging about school life. I guess it is genuinely interesting but my blog only has like 200 views. I dunno. I'm a boring person):

and yess haha I need to start re-writing my blog format so it's more for crafters than bloggerz..
If you've still read until this point please give me any areas for improvement for my videos! Thank you so much! <3
