Little Wall

Quick name thing to cover some paper residue on the door(:

faux chalk!

My new project! A chalk effect typography. I hope to put this in class, so I hope the words don't fade or get dusty.. :/

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

-Philippians 4:13

The front is black acrylic paint, and the words are written with a white charcoal pencil. the side's brown and black dilute acrylic paint. (: alterations were made using a dry paint brush to erase mistakes. An extra effect to use dry pastel powder and wipe across  front with tissue paper

.. I had a spelling error > ~ < heheh luckily managed to correct it later..

Steam train

Happy belated birthday Anu!! :D

Made this for a friend's birthday! I hope she liked it <3 it's got kinda funky colors, but I really didn't want it to look so dull >< I have no idea what a guest book's supposed to look like, but I hope the train kinda explains it?

Ol'fashioned steam train - aged hotel guest book

I started by covering the sketch book with some yellowed out easel paper (right)

Then sketched a sketching of s steam train from google images (not very original..)

Changed the shapes and outlined with a marker

used charcoal, dry pastels, midliners (marker) and water color pencils to color everything in

stuck on some other stuff I sketched/copied and done! ^^

the final picture on top's edited… I have to admit the colour's weird! :/

My escape in the rainy days.

Prologue

If I were the rain, that binds together the earth and the sky, who in all eternity will never mingle, would I be able to bind two hearts together? -Inoue Orihime (Bleach)

It was 2 am again. As Meddy stepped out a gust of chilling wind passed her. Not like she could feel the cold, but it was always nice to imagine it anyway. Pitch-black crystals from the heavens drifted down, gently laying upon one another on the ground. Snow here fell disturbingly like the snow on Earth - gallantly making their descend to our world, only to melt away into nothingness at the warm touch of a hand reaching out to grab it. We too... will melt away in the embrace of our Companions, won't we? We were forbidden to meet. At least the snow was white and pretty there. But it's dark here. The blackened snowflakes were tainted by the sorrow of the day. The day of our ill-fated meeting - the day the humans broke the rules.

Quilling poster

School talent time is coming! I've been really fascinated by the quilling art and designs on the internet n wanted to try it out. Btw this is Not an official poster or anything. I just thought it was a good theme to start off with esp, since they alr have a theme verse and an online presence.

MG[acts] 2014 - A call to serve. Acts 20:35 - It is more blessed to give than to receive.

the roses were coloured with pink n red water colour pencils, paper background was painted, 'acts' was painted on scrap tracing paper and 'MG' was quilled!

Heheh doesn't really look poster-worthy but I guess wasn't too bad for a first try!(:

Pancake - Polymer clay

Tutorial coming soon! - A stack of pancakes on a plate with syrup and butter:)

14 February 2014

Happy toast:) Breakfast is always my favourite meal - that is, I only have breakfast on holidays;) but here's a smiley for the breakfast times that may have eluded you:)

-London, Oxford street. (Forgot the shop D:)

13 February 2014 - A new year, back to the dates

Atop St Paul's cathedral in London. Took this just last December. There's a sigh of a close to the day. I can't say I'm proud of what I've done, but certainly have made a lot of progress. The London Eye in the horizon kinda looks like the Singapore Flyer. But up here it just looks small >< I wonder how small the cathedral looks from the Eye.

Heart Candy tutorial!

YES I finally uploaded it! :')

I dunno if I should do the picture step-by-step tutorial as well.. maybe..

anyway hope you like this!
